Abstract
This paper considers the response of Pentecostals globally to mat-ters of social concern, and in particular as found in the teaching and ministry of Dr. David Yonggi Cho and the church he founded, Yoido Full Gospel Church. The social theology of Cho is based on this concept of the love of God that fills the life of the Christian through the Holy Spirit and enables the Christian to share this love with ot-hers, thereby meeting Jesus in daily life through serving poor and dis-advantaged people in the immediate society as well as in other coun-tries. Global Pentecostalism has through its message the potential to engage in social transformation, and Cho’s ministry with its work among the poor, the leadership of women, and its theology of sacrifi-cial love is an example of that potential.

Abstract
This essay explores South Korean pentecostal beliefs and practices regarding social engagement, as seen in the writings of Rev. Dr. David Yonggi Cho and in the projects of the Yoido Full Gospel Church, and does so comparatively in contrast to especially North American pentecostalism. Its thesis to be explored is twofold: methodologically, that the more rapid development of a social theology in South Korea reflects a more this-worldly orientation than in the North American context; and theologically, that such a this- worldly emphasis is nevertheless fully consistent with pentecostal spirituality, piety, and sensibilities. The result is that a dialogue between South Korean and North American pentecostalism can be helpful for the global pentecostal theological task and perhaps even for ecumenical theology.

Abstract
Dr. Cho’s doctrine of salvation can be found in his teachings, such as Threefold salvation, 4th Dimension, Fivefold Gospel, Spiritual movement, healing ministry, positive faith, the Good God, and loving neighbors that are not limited within the rubric of evangelism. In this paper, I try to explicate that Dr. Yonggi Cho understands salvation as concrete, real and practical in essence. The salvation that he proclaims is not limited within the level of individual salvation. It is not limited within the paradigm of saving souls. The flesh must be saved and the whole life must be saved. The fact that Dr. Cho understands the salvation holistically can be shown when he refers to the salvation of spirit and soul, as well as human beings, the society, and the nature. We should understand Dr. Cho has had his own situation from the time of the tent church in Daejo-Dong in 1958 to Seodaemoon Central Full Gospel Church to Yoido Full Gospel Church. His ministry had to deal with poverty, disease, and superstitious belief. His ministry should be considered as theology of hope and theology of blessing in the power of the Holy Spirit, with which he resolved individual, structural, and social grudges. In other words, Dr. Cho’s doctrine of holistic salvation is not a theoretical ideology coming from a desk but is a testimony and a confession gained from his real ministry.

Abstract
In this article, I try verify that the soteriology that Young San believes in and preaches is the ‘Holistic Soteriology of Threefold Blessing’ and that the life-form which he himself has lived up to all his life is ‘sharing love and happiness’, thus showing that Young San’s understanding of social salvation and his life is a leading example of the ‘Citizenship’ or ‘Sociality of the Church.’ For this, I will mainly refer to Young San’s sermons and books, such as Young San Theological Journal of Young San Theological Institute, which studies theological subjects concerning Young San, The 50th Anniversary of Yoido Full Gospel Church, Dr. Yonggi Cho’s Ministry and Theology as a collection of papers in memory of Dr. Cho’s 50 year ministry, which has been published in five volumes recently. Then, I will discuss the matter in the following manner; first, I write about ‘Young San’s understanding of salvation’ in a theoretical perspective and then look into ‘Young San’s social salvation’ and ‘the existing evaluation on Young San’s holistic salvation.’ Finally, I will characterize Young San’s social salvation and evaluate it in order to find out its significance.

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze Young San’s understanding of love and its role in his theology. In Christian history, love has been considered as the vital core of Christian thought.
Young San understands that love has its origin not in human beings but in the Trinitarian God. Love is an idea which indicates inter-relationship between personal beings and originates in the loving inter-relationship of the three Persons of the Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit: “God is love.”
For Young San, the nature of love is to give life to creatures. Since they were created by God’s love, they are also revived by His love. Therefore, love has the power to enrich life. While the law in nature condemns all, love lets them live. Its nature is to sympathize with others. Thus, the loving God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to deliver fallen human beings. Love has always positive attitude to all things: “it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always per-severes”(I Corinthians 13:8). Furthermore, love works in the Trinitarian circulation: love starts with the inter-relationship of the Father, the Son and the Spirit; through the fullness of the love of the Trinity, love overflows to creatures; by the power of the Trinity and in response to the Trinitarian love, creatures can love each other and God Himself. Especially, those who are loved by the Trinitarian God should love other people as well as God. If not, they would perish.
In the earlier years of his ministry, he emphasized the role of faith especially in the fourth dimensional spirituality, but he did not devaluate Christian love, either. Rather, he thought that faith comes out of love. In recent years, he much more stresses on love as the most precious idea of Christianity particularly in the movement of “Love-N- Happiness Foundation.” For Young San, love is the vital core of his theology.

Abstract
This article analyzes an organic relationship among the four elements of the fourth-dimensional world in Young San’s theology and presents the importance of its implication in ‘Sitz im Leben’ of Christian life.
According to the recent tendency, studying of the fourth-dimensional world explicates fourth-dimensional spirituality as a creative potentiality of the Christian faith. In an attempt to redefine Young San’s theology, this paper presents an organic relationship among the four elements of the fourth-dimensional world in the absolute sovereignty of the good God.
It is important to know that the theological background of the fourth-dimensional world is related to the sovereignty of the good God, dynamic work of the Holy Spirit, the concept of the written Word of God and the spoken Word of God.
The law of the fourth-dimensional world which controls the third- dimensional world contains the four theological elements such as thinking, vision, faith and word. We can use these spiritual laws to change and lead many lives to be successful. That is why we have to count on the Bible and to pray constantly.
A theological analysis to the law of the fourth-dimensional world proposes to have an organic relationship among the four theological elements of the fourth-dimensional world, in the absolute sovereignty of God the Father, and in His Word and constant prayer. Therefore, in the law of the fourth-dimensional world, they are related as an organic relationship among the four elements of the fourthdimensional world without separation.

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to survey the Young San’s creative gospel in the fourth dimension spirituality. Young San emphasized ‘possibility thinking.’ He teaches us to change our mind with phrases like, “I can do it! Let’s do it! Let’s start!” It is possible through the Holy Spirit. However, Young San encountered a crisis when other Pasters and churches tried to break his vision. After a while the Korean church began to take a new approach to understand the Holy Spirit movement of Yoido Full Gospel Church. This new development was in contrast with the previous one and shows the developed status of the Korean church. Thus, the Korean church agreed to Young San’s Holy Spirit movement. As a result, many leaders of the Korean church played a significant role in the ministry and the Korean church began to reveal. Moreover, the Full Gospel Church experienced rapid growth in a short period of time.
In this paper, I deal with the Young San’s theology of creation. Young San emphasized the fourth dimension; especially in thinking, faith, dream, and words. The fourth dimension rules the third dimension. Therefore, Young San encourages people to think, to believe, to dream, and to speak of the fourth dimension. For this, principle of looking ahead, have a burning desire, pray for assurance, and speak the word. Creative life through the fourth dimension spirituality is able to realize the kingdom of God. Accordingly, the Young San’s creative gospel in the fourth dimensional spirituality should be extended worldwide.

Abstract
Today’s education emphasizes the development of human creativity and imagination. In fact, teaching is an art or mystery more than a technique. Therefore, teaching is related to the spirituality of integrating mystery with technique or inspiration with professionalism.
This article explores the relationship between spirituality of the fourth dimension and imagination. Young San attributes the origin of human creativity and imagination to the spirituality of the fourth dimension. Young San’s spirituality of the fourth dimension can be identified as the human capacity to imagine God’s vision towards this world and to transform the world in accordance with God’s vision. Therefore, the spirituality of the fourth dimension is nurtured in the triangular relationship among God, humans, and world. Christians who are saved and renewed by Jesus Christ are living in the borderland between this world as the third dimension and the spiritual world as the fourth dimension. Christians can recreate this world, the third dimension in the light of God’s vision as the fourth dimension. Just as God created this world, human beings who are created in the image of God can recreate this world by thinking in God’s perspective, dreaming God’s dreams, believing in God, and using the creative words of God. In short, Christians are God’s agents who can visualize God’s visions and actualize them in this world. The spirituality of the fourth dimension Christians to imagine God’s vision and the world that will be transformed into God’s vision.
Thus, this article suggests imaginative teaching as three movements, such as remembering, visualizing, and actualizing. Moreover, it shows four teaching methods (thinking, faith, dreaming, and words) of nurturing spirituality of the fourth dimension. This imaginative teaching and its teaching methods will be effective models for spiritual disciplines and creative teaching in the twenty first century.

Abstract
This paper attempts to analyze the last element of the fourth-dimensional spirituality, the word, as the specific element to actualize the creative power of the spiritual world in the real life of people in time and space. Young San’s understanding of language, concentrated on the reality of spoken word, is in accord with basic important results of scientific research into language. His explanation, however, proves itself to be deeply theological. The reality of the Fourth-dimensional word is related to the work of the Trinitarian God Himself. Concerning the Word of God, the practical distinction between Logos, the written word, and Rhema, the spoken word, is important. The word also appears as an essential theme in the explanation of man as God’s image, his fall and salvation.
In Young San’s description, we can find two reciprocal actions between the word and the other three inner elements of the fourthdimensional spirituality, i.e. thinking, faith and dream. The former not only expresses the latter so as to have the creative power actualized, but also influences and strengthens each of them. The word of fourth-dimensional spirituality is to be characterized in its nature as creative, active, positive, productive, transcendental and spiritual. It aims to deliver love and blessing to others. Especially, Young San’s statements on prayer and proclamation as a whole shows us the complex inner structure or logic of the word of fourth-dimensional spirituality. It is not the prayer but the spoken word of proclamation or command that releases the creative power promised by God. Furthermore, a discussion is required on several themes such as: (1) interrelationship of diverse forms of language, (2) sign language as a channel for the creative power to be actualized, (3) fundamental differences and connections between glossolalia, directly given by the Holy Spirit, and our normal spoken language.

Abstract
Young San placed starting point of his ministry and spirituality on existential understanding of human beings. Young San claims that the only way to solve man’s existential sense of emptiness is to redraw self-portrait by the blood of Jesus Christ. This paper presents existential human being and redrawn self-portrait by the blood of Jesus Christ with Young San’s 15 selected Sunday sermon texts using 1 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 17 among his works from 1981 to 2008. After comparing the 15 Sunday sermon texts deeply, proposition of his pastoral philosophy is obtained. Originally, human being is wearing the image of God and worth admiring being. But, after disobeying the Word of God, human being lives as being placed on an absolute despair and death with existential burden of life. But, Jesus Christ came to earth and gave salvation through his blood to human beings with the riches of God’s grace. Therefore, a human being who is reborn as a man by the blood of Jesus Christ to die together with Jesus Christ and be buried in a tomb, and the resurrection with Jesus. After that, it can be redrawn self-portrait and the man who wearing transformed self-portrait can lives a new life.
Based on the above propositions, this paper delves into Young San’s redrawn self-portrait by the blood of Jesus Christ by analyzing 15 selected sermon texts to a deeper study. This researcher through the analysis of 15 sermon texts following five different types of large bowl to hold contents of 15 sermons was found. The first one is the Creation spirituality. The second one is after the fall away of the old man as an existential portrait of a human being. The third one is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The fourth is about death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to identify will draw again self-portrait with the blood of Jesus Christ. The fifth becomes a new man living a new life. At that time, translate four-dimensional spirituality into practice, so that will further enrich new life’s novelty. For more detailed understanding about Young San’s redrawn self-portrait by blood of Jesus Christ, analyze and compare formation and evolution of self-representation through Object relation theory.

Abstract
The Purpose of this thesis is to address three things; Firstly, to find that thehealing at the Pool of Bethesda is based on traditions. Secondly, to address the method of expression used to represent ‘Tradition Materials’ in the healing at the Pool of Bethesda. Thirdly, to understand why the author of ‘The healing at the Pool of Bethesda’ used ‘Tradition Materials’ in his/her writings.
History tells us that the Fourth Gospel written during the era where the Gospel started to spread rapidly starting from Palestine. This scenario brought about two issues; the first issue is that the number of people who witnessed Jesus was scarce and the second issue is to know how the content of the Gospel overcomes cultural barriers. Representing tradition materials in the healing at the Pool of Bethesda is a method of writing used in overcoming these obstacles so that the true recordings of Jesus can be delivered in an effective and spiritual way.
